Is there a list of the largest and/or most active corps? I'm looking to join up with a motivated one that is preparing for the release of Tyrannis.

The full list of corporations doesn't appear to be available. The best I have found out there looking around was the dotlan maps alliance tracker, though you would have to drill down into to get the size of the corporation. For example, looking at the Alliance list, and then drilling down I can get to a particular corp within the alliance.
However, the size of a corp does not necessarily mean it is active nor if it is motivated for Tyrannis. Activity isn't something that is given a metric.
Your best bet is likely looking in game and on the various forums for recruitment. Looking to see who is active on the test server may also be an indication of who is prepared.

Looking through recruitment adverts on both Scrapheap challenge as well as Eve-Online forums would help trim down your choices. Some additional research on your side would be needed in order to figure out what corps are for you and who is really active, but like everything else in Eve' your destiny is up to you!
