Perhaps I'm just too new to incursions but, from what I've seen thus far, it really seems like they're not worth it unless you're killing the final carrier.
They're incredibly difficult, no bounties, no loot and little salvage just seems so bizarre to me. Is the CONCORD reward [SOMETHING THAT MAKES MORE SENSE THAN THE CRAZY EDIT SOMEONE JUST DID THAT WASN'T ENGLISH]?

The loyalty points gained from the Incursion are entirely new CONCORD LP. In addition to a variety of unique items that can only be purchased from Concord, the LP are freely exchangeable with that of the LP of any of the other four factions. That makes them fairly liquid and their baseline cash value can be directly ascertained by comparing the item considered for exchange with its market or average contract value. And that's the minimum cash value. The new Concord items such as implants should prove to be highly sought after, as they are not only rare at this point but, in actuality, at least according to everyone with whom I've spoken, quite useful looking and desireable.
All of that is to say, if you do manage to score some Incursion LP, they are going to be on the high end of LP value, maybe even the very high end. Apart from that, you get some cool experience and get to meet some interesting new space-dudes. Sounds pretty cool to me.

I did one Vanguard, one Assault and the final Mothership site on recent Amarr incursion, they all were great fun and pretty well organized and "safe" thanks to our FC and our superb logi pilots who kept me alive through it all. My payout in the end of the incursion for those three missions was some 63 mill ISK and some 20,000 LP, so I would say it is very well worth it. Besides flying in proper fleets is fun and certainly lot more interesting than soloing lvl4's. Your mileage may vary though, try to find a good fleet to do these in.

well... one of the points of the incursions is that you don't get paid or anything till the whole incursion is done. you then get paid depending on how much work you did to fight the incursion back.
it's made this way so that pilots that are trying to fight back the incursion don't have to think about looting or salvaging in the middle of it all. they don't have to think about anything else than killing as many Sansha as they can.
in other words... you don't get paid for all your hard work till the carrier/boss is defeated.

Lol…couldn’t see the random edit you referred to but how about….Does the CONCORD reward make up for the lack of rewards that we are more used to receiving with missions?
