BPO instead of a BPC for invention?

Example: I have a BPO and i use it in an invention job, instead of using a bpc of it. What happens?

You cannot start an invention job with an original Blueprint. You must use a Blueprint Copy for this job.

There were BPO’s for T2 items, but the system changed (they are still out there, you can even buy them via contracts sometimes).

What you do now:

Make copies of the BPO you want to invent.
Get the appropriate Datacores (you can find them in the Ïtems list"
Make sure you have the appropriate skills (the higher the better!)
Put the copy, the datacores and the right decryptor (you can see this item on the list too) in the hangar of your researchplatform (either in your POS, or if you are lucky in the station you are in.)
Rightclick on the BPC and click “Invention” -Follow the stops and you are set :)

Basically, this is just a roulette, you won’t get prizes everytime, but you can influence the odds (a bit) by having good skills.
