Can I be found while cloaked?

If I am cloaked can someone probe for me and find me? Or will they not be able to detect me at all?

If you are cloaked in a safe spot, you are completely undetectable.

If you're cloaked anywhere someone might be able to warp to, it is possible (however unlikely) that they might unwittingly come near you and drop your cloak -- but in a safe spot, there's absolutely NOTHING that can be done to track you down.

Thank you for the explanation.

It actually defends a little on your safespot, but you are mostly correct. Midsafes are created in batches, so are not unique. There is therefore a small chance that if you sit in a midsafe cloaked you could get uncloaked by another ship that warps in to the same spot, and flies into you. It is, however, extremely unlikely.

If you are within 2000 meters of any celestial object you will decloak. This includes missiles, probes and other cloaked ships. Source Evelopedia. So somone could fly to your last known position and try to de-cloak you.

There seem to be difficult to navigate cloaked while dealing with wormholes, cosmic sigs, asteroid belts and such. Source: Scrapheap Challenge Forum. There seems to be a solution linked at the end for avoiding cosmic sigs causing de-cloak.

No. If your cloak is running, probes don’t see you, period.

We had a neutral sitting in one of our 0.0 systems for several hours not too long ago — but there was nothing we could do to kick him out, because he was safed up with a cloak.
