Can I make enough money to buy plex during the 14 day trial?

Could I realistically make enough money to buy a plex during the trial?

It's possible, but extremely unlikely. If you played 16 hours a day for all 14 days, you could probably get it through missions or maybe mining if you skilled right.

If you went lowsec / 0.0 and PvP'd or shot NPCs as soon as you had the basic skills, you might get lucky on a faction drop. Or maybe an old player will quit the game and donate their fortune to you.

Still, just really, really not likely.

I suggest getting a well fit rifter and some red bulls and just pwn your way at them missions, i wouldn't imagine it being possible but good luck anyways.. you'll probably need to do missions 26 hours a day 8 days a week though

It's not very likely at all with the "normal" isk making methods: mining, ratting, missions. However you could probably do it through playing the market or scamming other players. These options, particularly scamming, are based more on your abilities as a player and less on SP.

Run C1 anoms with a friend. It's possible to clear them in a cruiser (might be a little slow and will require warping in / out to rep up).

I had plex money running C1s on my 14 day trial but this was in the day of 7-8 mil ribbon prices so it was a little bit 'faster'. Combine this with joining a 0.0 alliance that will accept new players and go ratting.

It's very possible given you dedicate enough time to it and play like an addict ;)

Incredibly unlikely I'd say.

You are limited by fairly poor skills and ships with a number of the usual avenues unavailable, so that pretty much rules out mining, ratting and courier contracts. It takes quite a while for a beginner to get standings for missions, but you'd only be able to use a cruiser semi-effectively at best to tackle them so you'd be limited to level 2 and perhaps some level 3 combat missions.

Its definitely possible to make that much playing the markets for an experienced player, but they'd have plenty of capital to play with. You would be hard pressed to do it on a trial account especially as if I recall correctly you can't do anything with contracts on a trial account.

Getting lucky you might manage it somehow, the price has come down to only 320million for a plex now.

Being within the trial period limits all contracts. It also limits some skills.

I would have to say not without help!

It is possible if you have another character and can generate a lot of funds, or if you have a friend who is willing to get you off the ground,

otherwise if you can afford to go 14 days continuous with no sleep you could mission to get capital and then trade your way through, but even then I doubt it, as you would have too much isk outflow at the beggining of your carrer, both in skills and new ships.

Short answer is no unlikely.

Advertizing your own guide ? Because nowhere in this guide do I see anything related to “trial”.

On the contrary, it says :

It is a guide about how to make decent ISKs without few month of skills training

If you get an invite to join from a friend you get 21 days free. Extra 7 days to earn that ISK!

I think if you then go to a full account the friend gets a 30 day plex, so you wouldn't be out of line asking for 100-150m ISK 'donation'

2 ways, must be dedicated and a bit lucky. Either way, you need a friend.

1- As suggested, run C1 Wormholes with a friend, over and over. They will have to scan them down but you can add dps support w/ a caracal, rupture or thorax. Drones+guns would be too much skill training, also sleeper MOBS will kill the drones.

2- Get into your friend's mission corp, and just fly a destroyer or cruiser (execuror works best) and salvage the large wrecks, and loot the large wrecks. IF you are looting missions that could drop 'Arbalist' Heavy Missile Launchers then check the cruiser wrecks too. These items are worth a lot 10-13m since there are so many drakes in the universe.

3- Get into your friend's 0.0 corp and do #2.

*Note, should you just pay the first month, you could join a friend in 0.0 and be ratting in a odd-fit bs and make it easy.

Example of odd fit bs: Raven

  • High: torp/Cruise Launchers
  • Med: AB, Target painter, Cap Recharges in the rest
  • Low: 1600mm plate, Large armor rep, hardeners

Seems like a crazy fit, but works with under 1m sp. Armor tank is easier to skill for to be effective early, as one gets into the 2m and 3m sp range they should be swapping to shield tank. I have several RL buddies that got into eve and we had them running this setup in STAIN and they only paid for their first month in cash.
