Does either a carrier and / or a rorqual fit into POS hangar ?

My understanding is that SOME carriers fit in a regular Ship Maintenance Array. Tier One ships (Thanatos, Chimera, Nidhoggur, Archon) are "small" enough, although as mentioned they will use 60-70% of the space. Tier Two carriers (Nyx, Wyvern, Aeon, Hel) are substantially larger and will NOT fit.
A Rorqual fits in a Ship Maintenance Array as well. Like with the carriers, however, it will dominate the available space. You've only got 20,000,000 m3 to play with -- a Rorqual eats up 14,500,000 m3 of that. (An Orca is a little better, but will still use 10,250,000 m3.)
I think most people include the Nyx, Wyvern etc as motherships or Super Carriers rather than Carriers… I was under the impression that Mother Ships and Titan’s can’t fit in anything and were confined to space/being abandoned in Large POS’s
Good point — I was being a little bit pedantic. Strictly speaking Moms are classed as carriers, just very large ones. :)
With regards to storing them, however, my understanding is that a Capital Ship Maintenance Array can hold 155,000,000 m3 — that is, one Titan or up to 3 Motherships.
If you mean Maintenance array rather than hangar then yes, a carrier definately does, but it takes up about 3/4 of the space.
If you actually meant the Hangar (as in packed) I have no idea. :)
You can get capital ship maintenance arrays, but you need sov 5 and capital production facilities to anchor one I think.
Yes a Carrier definatley fits inside a ship maintenance array, but you will only get one in there and maybe a dozen other ships dependant on size. Matt
