Which is the better choice? I for example really like evehq it's a nice comprehensive tool, it has all you need and more.

EveMON is an excellent tool to plan your skills you want to learn in the close-med-far future. It has a function to determine the necessary skill to fly any ship or to use any equipments in game. It also has an import function from EFT, which gives you an exact skillplan to fly the created fit in EFT. You can create you own skillplan as well, and EveMON offers you options to get them in the shortest time by using its features. For instance you can check the learning time with different implants and/or learning skill levels. You can determine your attribute remap points and which ones you should modify. I find EVEHQ a bit heavier to use due its multiple functions. EVEHQ has a built-in fitting part (like EFT is), a built-in skillplan part, but those thing are better in EveMON and in EFT (this is only a personal opinion). EVEHQ has a lot of useful plug-ins, which can make wonder if you give him a full API key. You can see your assets whereabouts, you can design a POS, you can see the corp/alliance wallets, using export functions you can determine easy, how much tax got the corp from any of its members in the current and previous months. You can check your killmails, you can design a route to 0.0 to Jita using the map plugin, or search a good agent in the near you have the necessery standing for, plan you inventions, and it also has a nice WH-DB too.
