EVEMON and remapping

Here's the scenario. I have created a remapping point and maxed out an attribute. Further down my skill plan I am going to train a skill that increases said attribute by 1 (the Willpower level 5 advanced learning skill).

Does EVEMON take into account the upcoming skill training or will I in effect "lose" one of attribute points until I remap again? Is there a hard limit on how many points you can have in one particular attribute?

Should I instead remap and leave the attribute at one point off the maximum so that when the skill is trained, it fills the remaining slot?

My plan will only involve Willpower and Charisma Primaries, so leaving the advanced learning skill till I hit my Willpower orientated skills means I cna get cracking on my Leadership stuff now.

The attributes distributed during remapping are your base attributes, and completely independent of learning skills and implants. You cannot get more attributes to remap by learning skills or plugging in implants. The evemon remapping window reflects this, and keep the three sources of attributes separate.

Ahh I see. So is there a hard cap per base attribute or per the total amount you can have in the total attribute?

The way the EVEMon Attribute Optimizer works is actually by trying each possible permutation of the training time for the selected remapping point, thus EVEMon will try to do this:

  • Int: 15, Per: 9, Cha: 5, Wil: 5, Mem: 5 = 398d 1h 1m 10s
  • Int: 14, Per: 10, Cha: 5, Wil: 5, Mem: 5 = 399d 1h 2m 42s
  • Int: 13, Per: 11, Cha: 5, Wil: 5, Mem: 5 = 401d 22h 1m 22s

... and so on until ...

  • Int: 0, Per: 0, Cha: 0, Wil: 9, Mem: 15 = 362d 11h 22m 4s

Once all of the calculations have been made the lowest training time is presented to the user.
