fleet command bonuses

A fleet command ship, like the Caldari Vulture, can use 3 gang links at once. I understand that you can't use 2 of the same gang links at the same time.

My question is how do the ship bonuses, module bonuses and leadership bonuses stack? Do they stack or is just one thing selected by the game mechanics?

For example, if I had Siege Warefare 5, Siege Warfare Specialist 5, Leadership 5, and Commandships 5, what kind of bonuses would I be giving?

Lastly, if I were the fleet booster and there were 2 squads with legal squad leaders, both with leadership five, how would that affect the boost given to the squad members?

Thanks for all the great replies. It’s pretty complicated stuff and I appreciate the help.

This is a chart of each possible Base Command Bonus and I have applied the most common escalation of bonuses to them to demonstrate what is possible rounded off to one decimal point. This certainly does not represent the many combinations of skills and skill levels that are possible when working out your Command Bonus.

                                        | 2% | 10% | 15% |22.5%|25.9%|28.1%|
                                        | 3% | 15% |22.5%|33.7%|38.8%|42.2%|
                                        | 4.5% |22.5%|33.7%|50.6%|58.2%|63.3%|
                                           | | | | | |
Base Command Bonus of the Module ----------| | | | | |
'X' Warfare Specialist 5 (500% of Base) ---------| | | | |
Warfare Link Specialist 5 (+50%) ----------------------| | | |
With X Warfare Mindlink plugged in (+50%) -------------------| | |
*With Command Ships 5 racial module type only (+15%) --------------| |
With Capital Industrial Ships 5 instead (Rorqual only, +25%) ------------|
With Defensive Subsystem 5 (Strategic Cruisers only, 25%) ---------------|

If you think these numbers look overpowered, you’re pretty much correct. These bonuses are massive, and anyone who has a T3 giving them bonuses in a system is increasing their combat effectiveness by a huge margin.

For example, give yourself a max-skilled Tengu and Loki in squad and wing commander positions, and you get a Hurricane that does 2000 m/s, has Drake-like EHP and can point out to 40 km. Yep.

They do indeed stack.

Leadership 5 gives 10% targeting speed
SW 5 gives 10% more shield capacity.
SWS 5 will multiply the effictiveness of the SW Link module by 100% per level CS 5 increses the effectiveness by 3% per level. Warfare Link Spec also increased the effectivness by 10% per level

This would translate into 10% shield capacity, 10% targeting speed. Siege Warefare Link - Active shielding does give a bonus of 2% without any skills calculated. With the skills above, it'll give 17.25%

One note though: This can be boosted further by the Siege warfare mindlink - Implant, which replaces the 10% shield boost from SW 5 by 15% and increases the Command bonus of Siege Warfare Link modules by 50%.

For the last question: Nope. For that, only the highest bonusses are used, as stated in almost every primary leadership skill. They do not stack.
