How do you tell if a CSAA is building a super?

Basically what the question states. Other then it being online, which doesnt tell you much, what are the best ways for a spy to tell if a CSAA is in production? Can you also tell what is being produced (Super vs Titan)?

There is no way to tell exactly what a CSAA is building unless you are a member of the corporation and you have been blessed with the roles necessary to use building arrays at a POS. Any supercapital builder worth his or her salt will likely be in a small corp with only his or her building alts, so that’s not an option.

That supercapital builder, however, is likely in your alliance, and you can quickly determine if /something/ is building using the Science & Industry tab. This requires no roles whatsoever, so even your aw0x'ing alt who is about to get kicked can still check this out, \o/.

Fire up S&I, then go to the “Installations” tab, and then sort by Activities —–> Manufacturing, and Type —–> Alliance, and Prod. Category —–> Ships.

Then check for arrays named CSAA and/or arrays that only have one build slot (a smart builder will rename his or her array to something entirely different than CSAA to help disguise it on the Science & Industry tab). If the jobs are well over 2 weeks long, it is most definitely a supercapital build. If there’s only a few days left, it’s harder to say with any degree of certainty, but unless you’re IT Alliance building ~components~ in your CSAA, then it’s highly, highly unlikely that it is anything but a supercarrier or titan build. And if, ofc, the job is 40 days long, well, ding ding ding, you have a titan building, sir!

Realistically, if a CSAA is anchored and online and not producing anything then it is just an expensive ornement.

Therefore I would say the fact it is there and online is a good indication it is building something.

As for what it is building, as anonymous poster states you would require roles or knowing someone who has the roles in the alliance to know what it is building.
