How to find 'empty' system?

Is there an easy way to find empty or relatively unused (low or null security) system? So far, I’ve been checking Dotlan maps for information about NPC/ship kills and number of jumps but I’d like to know if there is easier/faster way than clicking on every system…

press f10 ingame and sort after jumps in the last 24 hours and kill in the last 24 hours

other than that use dotlan as you said yourself…. those are the easiest ways.

The in game Eve Map, and battleclinics evemap java apps both have the option to colour solar systems by kills/ activity/ faction kills.

This will give you a quick visual representation for possible target systems, which you can then look at trends in more detail in dotlan.
