Is there any way to 'pass' a bookmark to a friend? He wants to salvage some goods after my missions -- can anyone please explain what's the best way to give him the locations?

You can copy bookmarks by holding shift key and draging them to your cargohold. After that trade bookmark with your friend or send them as a contract... Or invite him to your fleet and when you finish mission - he can warp to your location and salvage.

They also make a great item to “hold” open a can when jetcan mining. Free and takes no space!
