SO i have a negative standing with the Amarr Empire... of -6.21 and tbh, i dont like it, its hard to trade like this.
is there any way i can increase my standing with the Amar Empire (or Caldari) other then the skill Diplomacy?

The only real set of answers are:
- diplomacy at a high level
- run missions to increase faction standing
- improve ally standing
And in the meantime, stop shooting Amarr ships.
Diplomacy:
The equation for standing with diplomacy is:
Effective standing = Standing + (10-standing)*0.04*diplomacy
So, to get a -4.9 effective standing with a real standing of -6.21, you will need:
-4.9 = -6.21 + (16.21)*0.04*d
solve for d
1.31 = 0.6484 * d
2.02 = d
A diplomacy skill of 2 will get you to about -4.9 (a bit more than -5 giving some room to play with). Though, if you do any Gallante or Minmatar storyline missions, this will need to be looked at again.
Amarr missions:
The easiest set of missions to run to improve standing and get to storylines (and thus improve faction standing) fast is the Amarr Circle Agents. You start at one of:
- Youl 7M10
- Myyhera 5M1
- Ekid 10
- Akhragan 8
- Bhizheba 9M1
There is an agent (Level 1, Quality 0, event) in each station that will send you to the next station in the loop. These are all small courier missions doable in a frigate (there is a leg that is 50m3 and thus a shuttle won't work).
Ally Improvements:
The best to run with to improve Amarr standing that you likely haven't ruined standing with is the Ammatar Mandate minor faction. They have a very high derived standing increase to Amarr. Storyline missions for them will help your amarr standing more than any other (other than Amarr itself). It wouldn't be too hard to get the standing up to running L2 or L3 missions with the related improvement of standing gains. The problem with Ammatar Mandate - they are out in the boonies of Amarr's boonies.
The next best for improving Amarr standing is Caldari. Not as good as Ammatar mandate for Amarr, but has the advantage it is a major faction itself.
One more magic number:
-2.00. This is the faction standing that you need to be able to do missions greater than 1+0 missions. Once you get above that threshold, it becomes much easier to get standing through better missions.
Once you get the standing you want with Amarr and Caldari remeber to rotate storyline missions. And start refusing to take missions that are vs a major faction.
