Is 0.0 safer than Low Sec?

I´ve seen people say that null sec is safer than low sec. Some even say that null sec is safer than high sec.

According to them, in high sec people are too over-confident and careless. I could go for that. But what about Low Sec?

Null Sec is safer than Hi-sec, because in 0.0 you expect to be attacked at every turn.

You take more care approaching Gates, scan more, watch local.

It's all about what region of space you call home, and how you form your habits.

In Hi-sec people tend to Auto pilot or forget themselves because they are under the false illusion that they are safe.

A lot of 0.0 residence are also under war decs a lot and Hi-sec war deccer's rarely stray into 0.0!

In 0.0 if you are attacked, your alliance and corp mates are usually around to repulse the attacker, you may die but they will too if they are not careful.

If you have never lived in 0.0 this will not hold true for you.

0.0 is inherrently more dangerous, and Low sec is also more dangerous than hisec but less so than 0.0.

It is simply to do with 0.0 players being super cautious by nature of needing to survive.

Low sec itself is safer than hi-sec in my opinion and safer than 0.0

Reason I say this, there is no bubbles to run into in low sec should you screw up your D-scan or approach.

You are aware you can be attacked so tend to pay more attention than in hi-sec.

You will still get protection from Gate guns etc so unless you sit at POS or safe spots you will at least provide some deterant for oppotunist attacks.

Out Gate gatecamps are useless in low sec but not in 0.0

In Gate gatecamps are where you get ganked in low-sec, and if you know what you are doing you can escape and if you aren't in a ship you can escape in you should be escorted.

Certain systems in Low-sec are more likely to get you killed than 0.0 though!

These are always at borders between either low-sec and 0.0 or low-sec to hi-sec

I pay extra attention in these systems, apart from that I think you can certainly say Low-sec is safer than 0.0

EDIT: One big thing I assumed that I feel after re-reading that I should make clear when I've been talking about 0.0 I categorically mean blue or friendly space 0.0, one the most dangerous place in eve is in enemy territory in 0.0, at least you get local though which is more than I can say for Wormholes.

Yeah I would mostly agree with this – in low-sec you are usually quite safe warping to 0 in a cloaky/small ship – and as said you expect to be attacked (unless you are stupid!) so are on your toes unlike in high-sec where a lot of people assume they are safe all the time.

Being in sov held 0.0 surrounded on all sides by blues with little chance of neutrals/enemies showing up is the safest place in Eve.

With your additional comment, you have competed everything there is to say.

Its also worth mentioning that most 0.0 is very sparsely populated, so moving short distances is usually quite safe. Hostile 0.0 is dangerous because they’ll almost always have jump-bridges to trap you in. NPC 0.0 is definitely dangerous though…

I agree with the comments on high-sec though — I’ve lost more haulers in high-sec than low-sec or 0.0, because i assumed auto-pilot was safe with just 80m worth of stuff.

It all depends on who your freinds are and what region ur in. if ur in say a region that has a NRDS (not red dont shoot) policy u are fairly safe going alone but not completely becuase you can never tell whos going to shoot you and whos not when jumping into a system unless u check every player in the systems info. if you head into a region with a NBS (not blue shoot) policy you will never make it alone due to fleets of people trying to kill you but if you are freindly to the people who own the area it is safer then high sec due to those same fleets trying to protect you (for the most part). however in low sec there are usualy random pirates in local that you have no idea who they are or weather or not they are going to try and scan you down and kill you or be freindly and help you out. The only certain in low sec is that there wont be any bubbles to worry about.
