Does living in NPC 0.0 have any major differences from living in 0.0 other than sovereignty? Are there any perks from living in NPC 0.0 opposed to regular nullsec?

0.0 vs NPC 0.0 (i'll refer to them as SOV 0.0 and NPC 0.0)
Safety
I personaly like Sov 0.0 because the coordinated group effort to hold space gives you intell channels that have constant posts of bad guys around. IMHO flying NPC 0.0 the loose ties between corps/aliances for intel is third rate at best.
You could dock in every station out there in NPC 0.0, but in your own space you have that option too in Sov 0.0
Isk
You could earn isk in either well by ratting. However when it comes to plexes/mining/anomolies/wormholes you will find that SOV 0.0 is definatly better since the systems can have upgrades installed threw the SOV mechenisms to increase spawning of the sites (more anoms, plexes, hidden belts, wormholes....) so there can be a constant supply of Sanctums and Havens and therefore more chances and more escalations.
NPC Missions
Well, the NPC missions used to be the favored source to get some pirate faction mods/ships, however now with plexes and anomalies, it's not. To get LP for a Macharial takes lots of missions, at least half of wich there will be no bounties for the mission rats. Where as scanning down a plex, or hitting a few sanctums for an escalation can yeild you 9/10 and 10/10 plexes with billions in loot.
Some loose benefits of NPC 0.0
Empty Stations. There are lots of cheap offices to get, lots of building and research slots out there. So covopsing your toon to npc 0.0 to get another ME point on your thanny bp is not a bad thing at all. Especially when the holding corp of a SOV alliance uses all the research/build slots forcing the corps to use their own poses for these purposes.
PL, LAWN, others...
Some nice alliances/corps like to live in npc 0.0 just to have scouts find the random ratters/missioners/miners and hot drop them. Decloak their rapier or falcon, jam u, and drop a cyno to bring in a carrier to kill your ratting raven with style. This is a big problem when you add in the usual poor intell from the NPC 0.0 residential population. Altho LAWN doesn't hotdrop so much, more like annoy you with cloaked HACS and SBs.

NPC: Stain, Syndicate, Fountain, Wildlands, Venal
SOV: Branch, Fountain, Pure Blind, Tenal
