Is there a combat log in eve?

Similar to wow perhaps or anything that i can look at instead of depending on the less then stellar "ticker" that displays info above my ship?

There is a log, you can accesses it through the accessories button near the bottom of the neocom. If you want to peruse them later, logs are saved as text files. The default directory for Windows is \EVE\logs\Gamelogs.

Be aware that the combat log clears itself if you dock or change system.

Go over to eve.battleclinic.com and sign up your LIMITED API key to their killboard - then any time you get a kill (or die!) your killmails will automatically be fetched.

If you have your own webspace you could also set up your own killboard using the Eve Development Killboard (EDK3) similar to the one I have set up at http://killboard.ifies.org/
