Is there a way to revoke a players membership in a corporation?

As a director in a corporation I’ve had a frustrating time recently after a theft from a corporate hanger trying to kick the member responsible. Apart from role management, there doesn’t appear to be a way to revoke a players actual membership in the corporation? Surely there is? If only for the CEO? Seems a bit absurd that I can accept an application yet not kick a member?

To kick the player, they must be docked at a station, otherwise the change in corp cannot be done.

You have two options 1) When he is next online, spam the “kick member” option until he is out 2) File a petition.

I am not sure how well the petition process will work, but it’s worth a shot.

to kick a player you have to remove the roles and then wait 24 hours before you can do so.

Roles removing can happen anytime but the kicking he has to be in a station as stated by hlibindustry.

im not sure but i remember someone telling me if he wont dock in a station you can do a kick vote in corp if you have the shares to do so and kick him that way. other than that file a petition and say he wont dock up.

thats the best answear i can give.

Thanks guys. Just spoke with the CEO and we’re now on the 24 hour countdown.

We’ll look out for his ship in the meantime to…uh…talk about what he did.

Get him, and podkill him, then he’ll be in a station…

actually a good idea. in my old corp if we had any thief we would make sure he had hell afterwards by killing him until he gave us back either the isk worthy of the stuff he took or the stuff.

if he then gives back the stuff we will kill him a couple of times to remind him not to steal again.

Usually a director does not have the power to kick a member. You need to get the correct role assigned by the CEO.

When you have the role, kicking a member is just a matter of right-click on his name in the corp member management window and it should tell you if he has roles or not. If not, he is on the 24h countdown.

I didn’t know he had to be in station for the kicking to work, but either way you can only pod him in hisec while he is still in your corp (without penalties, that is. If you are happy to accept the penalties, then podding is an easy option everywhere in space.)
