Market trading software

I am thinking about some market trading and decided to split all my trading into separate operations - this way I could track which ones are good investments and which ones were a waste of time and isk. One operation would be a separate item or a set of items within certain location (i.e. "Flipping Hulks in Jita" or "Manipulating cap recharger prices in Domain"). The app would automatically pull my market transaction logs and show me how much profit (or loss) I had within the operation so far (i.e. "You've already got 200 gazzilions profit on this operation and can just dump the rest to sell orders" or "You already lost 20 millions, but if you manage to turn in all your sell orders you'll have 300 billions profit").

I wonder if there is an application which would help me doing such tracking, or I should write one myself.

I know there are lots of wallet tracking programs but most are written in .Net which doesn't work under Linux (neither in mono, nor under wine). I'd like something cross-platform.

I've not used it myself, but eve-commander.com has a reputation for good features along the lines of that which you are asking for.

Could you mention the name of this tool so others could try it out?

I was looking for a standalone app, while eve-commander is an online tool. It also requires subscription (paid in isk). I will look at it, but not sure I will use it.

I’ve tried it and found the needed tool. It looks good, but still somewhat limited and doesn’t know about the “not yet sold” items.

Looks like I’ll go and make my own app.
