Old eve pre-cert 'certification' website.

Asked by [ Editor ]

There was once a website, you could give your api, and it gave you readouts of the ships you were'certified' to fly. This was before certs were out, and was pretty neat.

I had the link on my laptop but the HD drive died.

NOTE: The site had it’s own version of a “certificate” program inside, and came out right before eve’s cert’s program was announced.

Other than in-eve.net and eve-sheet.com, I can only think of the tool mentioned in this thread: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=675393

Which currently seems to be unavailable. Maybe if you see the URL you might recall if it's the one you are looking for.

By the way, certificates were announced on the dev blog on October 13,2008. So you can create a google search limiting the results to content older than that date (by using the search tools thingy in the left column in google).

Good luck!

Pretty sure you're referring to the old ineve.net by Sara Dawn. Random forum post regarding the same:

The site existed prior to API keys; you could upload your XML dump off of the website. Very handy.
