Penalty for POS aggression in low sec?

Are there any penalties if my low sec POS aggresses against a target without a criminal flag?

In high sec of course CONCORD would arrive but they don't do that in low sec.

If I personally attacked a player without a criminal flag in low sec I would receive a penalty to my security status.

As far as I know my corporation doesn't have a security status and the POS is technically owned by the corp and not the player.

So do I get away unpunished if I set my low sec POS to automatically aggress anyone approaching?

OK, so after going through the rigmarole of kicking corp members on the test server to get my standing back up I raised a low sec POS, lightly armed it and cranked up the aggression settings.

Sending my recently kicked alt in at the POS prompted the lock and attack by the tower.

This resulted in no change to anything on my main character or corporation.

And here is some news against what appears to be accepted wisdom...my main took control of the guns and shot happily away at my neutral alt without any change to my main's security status or standings.

Edit:

I raised a high sec POS too to check all this out. Of course I had forgotten that a tower raised in high sec does not have the options agress if standing/sec status is less than x.xx.

It only has aggress if sec status is dropping or at war. So not an issue here.

In a week at most my standings will be high enough to raise a high sec POS again. I will play around testing out the mechanics and report back again.

as far as i can remember you get a standing decrease and the guys most likely die.

concord is not there so they wont rape your pos.

though i have never tried so can't say what gate guns do to you...

Who gets a standing decrease? The POS isn’t marked as belonging to a player – just the corp. If you uncheck allow corp usage then even the launching player cannot access the bubble without the forcefield password.

As said never tried it but a corp mate of mine said he got standing decrease cause he’s pos fired and killed another player as a aggressor.

he could be wrong but that all the info i have

Psy > did you mean “his pos fired” or “he fired as a pos gunner” ? Cause obviously in second case he is the one firing, while on the other one the post shoots in auto mode…

Don’t know if it makes any difference, I would assume it does…

I assume you mean security status rather than standing?
