POS Bashing Dominix

What is the most effective way to fit a Dominix for high sec POS Bashing? It does not need RR as we are not going to be using a spider tanking battleship method because we will have Logistics.

if you have logistics and are very determined to use domis.... i would say the appropriate distance sentry drone depending on the size of the POS. look at the range of different sentry drones, and compare it to the POS shield size of the POS you are attacking. besides the sentries, you will also want to use rail guns..... if you do not expect to be attacked during the fight, i would recommend slapping on 3 mag stabs to crank out as much as you can from the guns, and then just do cap/buffer junk. if all you are doing is bashing a POS and not fighting other people, it is pretty simple.

We will be taking out the guns with PVP fit Battleships so if they decide to come help their POS we can kill them. After the guns are down we can have a range as low as 20km but with Gardes and dual 250mm railguns I get around 35km with both with is just fine. And I’ll be fit for more resists instead of actual hitpoints since we will have logistics. Anyone else have any suggestions?

resists does not always > extra HP. like for example, a third energized adaptive nano after stacking penalties may only add like 5 K effective HP, but a 1600 steel plate could add ENORMOUS amounts of raw HP, probably about 25~30,000 by comparison. you need to balance your resists and raw HP because stacking one or the other generally fails hard core.

I know how to tank for buffer and logistics. I didn’t add any EANM’s. I used a kinetic, explosive, and thermic hardener, DCU, and 1600mm plate. That gave me plenty of armor hp that I didn’t need to be repped until i was agressed about 3 times by the guns.

USe the shortest range sentry drones you can with sentry drone rigs and fit your domi out with neutron blasters. If you sit right on the edge of the bubble with a few tracking enhancers both your guns and your drones can hit the tower. Throw your standard buffer tank on there and call it an easy day.

Right on the outside of the bubble is 30km, rails do more damage with antimatter than blaster with weak damage to hit that far. and Wardens (longest range sentries) are the best choice.

Make sure to check the POS. Figure out what type of damage resists it has, then pick your sentry drones based on that. Fit big rails in the upper slots.

Yep, it has resist to mainly kinetic and secondary is thermal. So since kinetic sentries (wardens) so the least damage and thermal sentries (gardes) do the most the gardes are the best choice so I am using those and antimatter charge L is Kin-therm damage so it all works out perfectly
