Post Incursion Planetology skill(s)

Post Incurions Planetology skill(s).

Pre Incursion, I never bothered with the Planetology skill. I found my resources to be virtually static and moving resource extractors wasn't really an option.

However with post Incursion PI, we can now freely move Extractor Heads. I have noted how the numbers change but not always correspending to the highlighted area. I am also under the impression that resource hot spots are more dynamic.

As someone who never bothered with this skill pre Incursion, is it now worth training it to identify the hotspots easier? Or does it really not make difference to your output?

I would say that it is worth it. If you check my answer to this previous question you will find a link to screenshots from various levels in Planetology and Adv Planetology. You will see how effective the skills are at showing the hotspots.
