I've recently attained the skills to fly a Nemesis. Now I know I should probably take the 9 days and train up minmatar frigate but I was wondering if I could solo in my Nemesis. I have all the recommended skills and such. Should I make bombing runs on care-bear miners? Should I pack on a siege launcher and torpedo some hulks into oblivion? How do I have fun with this instrument of death?!

Its doable, but hard. MSE II, Warp Disruptor, MWD, aux PG and current routers, bombs, torps. The idea is to uncloak at bomb range, launch bomb, orbit at max disruptor range and just keep volleying with torps. If you start taking any dmg, gtfo. Miners are tough if you don't take them down fast because they always carry drones.
Also, consider the type of rats that are in the area and assume that they will be tanked heavy to the dmg that the rats do, then use something else (try to find systems that have rats that don't deal therm for your nem).

Been reading up. I’ll probably just take the 8 days and train up Minmatar frigate V. My current corp is kinda lame and I wanna blow shit up on my own. Apparently Hound >> Nemesis.

Actually I would say an AB fit far exceeds the MWD fits in this scenario. Creep up close, bomb and torp as you say. Orbit with AB on. No sig bloom and your speed should keep you safe from most of the incoming damage. Watch out for small drones…

Be careful about staying out of range of your own bomb. Approach at ab velocity, decloak and launch the bomb, and change direction at a right angle. Cycle torps, point and target the hulk, fly manually till you reach a stable orbit ~20km to maintain point and escape your own bomb.
