I have a nice working planetary production line and can produce anything that is possible but what can I do with the produced items?
I have not yet noticed a high interest in the products on the market. But I've also noticed that some of the products have moved from for example research materials to planetary products, at least I think I've seen this somewhere.
So I guess they're used in other production / development processes?

A number of the items are used for fuel for a POS.
The rest of the products find their way into construction for various things. For example the P4 "Organic Mortar Applicators" becomes a large number of products that includes control towers, silos, territorial claim unit, jump bridges, etc... Construction blocks are found in T2 production chains.
There are lots of things out there. It is just a matter of looking to see what they are used in.

The simplest answer is that P4 items are used to build (using BPO's/BPC's) POS modules (control towers, moon harvesters, turrets, missile batteries, silos, etc.....), and TCU's SBU's
