What does CTA stand for?

I hear this all the time and I only vaguely understand what it means. Anyone?

The exact wording depends on the person/group, but the general idea is Call To Action or Call To Arms.

Basically, CTA means that it is a very important operation for the corporation/alliance and it would be nice (read: essential) if you turn up with exactly what the management team have called for, work with the others who answer the call and do everything you can to complete the designated goals.

It stands for Call To Arms. Basically it's an order for anyone in the Alliance/Corporation that is logged on to join that fleet for whatever purpose.

An example might be if there's a large enemy fleet attacking a friendly outpost or POS.
