LOL!!!!

A Carebear is a derogatory term for a non-combat pilot....

The breed "Carebearacus maximus" are Miners, Traders, Industry etc...

It is thus called because of the aversion to combat and that they would rather create then destroy.

Actually though most pilots of industry and commerce I know are rather fond of the carebear status.

They tend to have no or little combat skills and considered easy and bad sports kills, although for some reason killing Hulks is totally acceptable...

To be killed by a carebear in a carebear ship is the most humiliating death that can befall a combat character!

But if you chicken out of a fight and someone posts in local "come back you f***in carebear" then you know why.

However if you do happen to see bears in space and the stare back at you..... run for your lives, youtube "when carebears attack" for the reasons behind this, and be afraid.

There’s no rule that you don’t have to know the answer to whatever question you post on here. It’s perfectly acceptable to post and answer the same question for example. The point is that this could probably be helpful to someone

I said “the score of questions”, it was obviously “the scope”… Sorry english not my native language ^^

PS : of course it’s not forbidden, there is even a badge for replying to your own question ^^

In eve anyone who inhabits high sec space avoiding PvP is a carebear, some carebears run missions and have descent combat skills but are too worried about losing a ship to participate in PvP.

Despite the public scorn for carebears shown by many of the most arrogant combat pilots, they usually secretly have a carebear alt to finance their PvP. Given how insufferably boring carebearing can be for a person who prefers combat, I can understand the bitterness. :)
