What is the best overview setup for flying Logistics? With and Without Energy transfers.

Asked by [ Editor ]

I am looking for 2 overview setups.

Setup 1: You are running a Logistics ship, and only concerned with REP, no energy.

Setup 2: You are running Guardian / Bassi and are also concerned with chaining the energy around.

Well regardless of energy transfer or not you will probably allways have your OTHER logistics in watch list. You will allways have targeted the cap-mate, and you will take the damaged fellas in your team from broadcasts. So overview set-up is pretty irelevant here.

You might want to have some enemies on your overview if you want to shoot them. ( or might want to filter ie if you have drones have an OV with only ceptors and dictors so if anyone points you put your drones on it )

Alternativley you could select OV to show friendlies have move items with broadcast to top ticked and seletct ppl to be repped from there.

Also dont forget to filter the broadcasts you recive. If your gang is usually target-broadcast heavy it helps.

well i can not tell you EXACTLY what fit to use because some people are willing to buy a 5 % grid increasing implant while others don't even have max skills, so i will give you a general idea.

your goal is to run as MANY shield/armor reppers as possible with at least an afterburner( some use a MWD but of course that is more grid and cap itnesive) after you are cap stable with as many reps as possible (after energy transfers, so you WILL have to try it in-game) you then fill in any remaining slots with light tank. like for example some people like to use shield extender + invuln or something for the basi, and a DC + maybey a enam and such could be nice for a guardian.

Virtucon, you might have misread the question. He’s asking about overview setups, not ship fitting.

Correct. Overview Settings. Logi5=never cap issues :)

Hiya, I would probably suggest just having friendlies showing depending on what sort of gang you are doing (so fleet members/alliance/militia/corp) and leave it at that.

Sort by ship type or potentially pilot name, whichever works easiest for you.

I assume you will be relying more heavily on broadcasts (so have the broadcast history window showing) and add potentially problematic ships to your watch list or an entire squad - again depends on what sort of set up you are flying with.

If you are chaining its often a good idea to have a seperate convo window going with the other logi ships, you can communicate and get yourselves set up without worrying about fleet chatter that way.

Does that help? I don't really fly logi personally (fly with them a lot, not in one though!) but do fly RR battleships and from that perspective this would be my take on it.
