What is the CSM?

The Council of Stellar Management (CSM) is a council of nine player representatives, democratically elected from the EVE player base. The purpose of the CSM is to represent the player community's interests to the developer (CCP), proposing possible changes and fixes to the game. While the CSM has an important function in bringing the players opinions to the developers attention, the council exist in a purely advisory capacity.
