just so you know… using macros/bots is against the EULA… and can get you banned…

Jump Clones work well, but you are restricted 24 hrs from jumping again.

If you want to move around try this:

  • Get a frigate
  • Put a Nanofiber or two on it.
  • Put a Inertial Stabilizer on it.
  • Put a Small Warp Core Optimizer on it.
40% less cap usage to initiate warp
  • Put 2 Small Hyperspacial Velocity Optimizers on it. 20% increase to warp speed per rig. 25% increase to warp speed if t2 rig
  • 1mn After Burner
  • Cap Recherches for the rest of the mids

This will zip you around faster than any pod or shuttle. Frig and rigs are cheap.

Can't Decide between MANUAL and AUTOPILOT? Go to your autopilot settings and select "Disengage Autopilot after Jumping." Then....

  1. Set destination for autopilot.
  2. Click and start warp to next gate.
  3. Turn autopilot on.
  4. Play EOH Poker or watch tv.
  5. Hear the gate fire. Autopilot just sent you threw the gate and turned off.
  6. go to #2.

That way allows you to semi-autopilot so you can speed up warping to 0km instead of 15km.

Above listed frigate will have low cargo hold, so if you are zipping your cyno toon around, have cyno 5 or adjust fitting and – Istabs – nano + Cargohold Expander IIs.

Also, semi-auto piloting with the sound on, keeps you sort of paying attention for suicide gankers.

Sound will not save you in a frigate with speed mods on it though, given how small your buffer is “instapoped” :D

Jumpcone is the fastest for one way. But then you dont get your ship with you. So I think the fastest and best way is to use Jumpbridges. In highsec I set the route and fly from system to system, warp to 0. If i have time, I use the autopilot.

Aside from jump bridges, cynos and jump clones the fastest way to travel is probably in an Interceptor. It has a faster warp speed tan other ships and aligns in an instant. Even autopiloting in an interceptor is pretty fast. Shuttles and frigates are the next best thing.

If you lost your ship in a fight and you want to get back to base, and have inexpensive or no implants in Self destructing your pod is a fast ticket home!

A bit expensive though, but if like me you get involved in POS bashes 42 jumps from home last thing you want is to go that far through 0.0 in a pod

Personally, I autopilot in a Crusader (Amarrian interceptor) 2x nanofiber 2x overdrive 1x MwD 1x cap recharger 2x small hyperspatial velocity optimizer

with my skills, it's 706m/s (4.6km/s with MwD on) 2.3s align time (3.4 with MwD on) and warps at 13AU/s

Aligns, warps, and flies at awe-inspiring speeds. heh. T2 rigs help a little, but not much.

The fastest way to travel in eve is in a pod using warp to 0. They warp almost instandly Macro's are a big no no.

Thats just not true a pods warp speed is nowhere near as fast as an interceptor, infact I would hazard a guess that using a nano fit blocade runner is faster than a pod. I know align time in a pod is instant but the slow warp speed makes up for it… not to mention theres that thing where pods seem to land fairly regularly just outside jump range of a gate even when warping to 0 which is really annoying :D
