What support skills should I train for Minmatar ships?

I have finally decided that I am gonna specialize in Minmatar ships atm. I am trying to improve my gun skills. Any help on what support skills I should be working on? There are so many for gunnery! Should I try to get them at level 5 or is 4 usually good enough?

Well first off, don't train controlled burst. Projectiles don't use cap. Next get gunnery to 5, and you turret skills to 5, then get your turret specialization skill to 4. (Med spec needs small spec 4. AKA they're connected.) To train the specialization you will need either Sharp Shooter or Motion Prediction to be trained to 5. On the side weapon upgrades, trajectory analysis and surgical strike will help you. However they will take a long time to get to lvl 5 (specifically trajectory analysis and surgical strike). Rapid Firing is also a great skill but will make your ammo deplete faster.

Motion Prediction only needs to be trained to 4 in order to train Medium AutoCannon Specialization. This will also allow the use of Tech2 Medium AutoCannons.

Getting them to level 5 doesn’t take long, gives a good enough return and allows for tech II large autocannons down the line. After all no self respecting battleship pilot will be using mediums.

  • Small Projectile Turret 4
  • Medium Projectile Turret 4
  • Large Projectile Turret 4
  • Rapid Firing, Sharp Shooting, Motion Prediction, Surgical Strike, Trajectory Anal.. all 4
  • Weapon Upgrades 4

T2:

  • Small/Medium Projectile 5
  • Small/Med Auto cannon 4
  • Small/Med Artillery 4
  • Large Projectile 5
  • Motion Prediction 5, Large Auto cannon Spec 4
  • Sharp Shooting 5, Large Arty Spec 4
  • Weapon Upgrades 5

Maxing:

  • ADV Weapon Upgrades 4
  • Rapid Firing 5
  • Surgical Strike 5
  • Trajectory Anal 5
  • Small Auto/Arty 5
  • Med Auto/Arty 5

Don't forget to max your ships out if you are hittig MAX time.... in a year or two.
