Where can I find item capacity limits: (e.g. max items in various containers)

I tried to put a bunch of BPCs - could be BPOs, the icons look similar :-) - in a contract. It seemed to only let me put about 500 items in a contract. I bought a small container and I think it held more than 500 but it still encountered a max capacity (not volume) limit.

In a world of 8GB computers, limits of a few thousand items are very surprisingly small. Where can I find out the item count limit for contracts and the containers (small standard ... Station)?

TIA

The limits are:

max 100 items per contract max 1000 items per container

The (volume) capacity of the various containers can be see in-game by doing a "show info" on the containers.

Additional to this – putting your items in a container has no effect on contracts as all the contents are counted – putting them in a container only adds one more item to the list (the container itself) – I assume this is also the case for fitted ships as fitted modules and cargo bay contents are counted as contents of the ship
