Why the 1tritanium gratuity ?

That's a hell of a good question isn't it ?

I always wondered why my handsome insurance girl (or boy if your a gal) bothered with including this gratuity of tritanium inside my noob ship cargohold...

Any ideas people ?

it is just a joke by CCP. there is no pratical reason for them to include a single tritanium tbh.

For the record : I expected it to be a joke. Could have been the kinda hotfix that you don’t know why it works, but it does :D

And what a corking joke it is too. :-)

You can actually get the noobship and 1 trit by docking in your pod at any station where you do not have a ship.

Could be an extremely inefficient way of making ISK. Shame you can't reprocess the noobship too.

I want to dock in every station ever and have a noobship given to me in all of them. Like that guy who went to all the systems…only better

I suspect you’ll run into trouble with player owned stations in null sec unless you’re blue to all of EVE for some weird reason :P
